The Douglas Hotel - Hartlepool

We were very kindly received by the manager. The room was modern furnished, cleanliness was top. The bed was really very comfortable. The cook served a good Scottish breakfast. Absolutely recommendable!!!

The rooms were tidy and had basic facilities you needed. The food was excellent. Its location was indeed perfect and exceptionally nice and only 5 minutes walk from Victoria Park Football Club.

The hotel was overall clean, I loved it. The room was airy and cosy with an excellent bed and pillows, the bed was comfy. The restaurant here was good. The service was exceptional, totally satisfied.

The location is ideal, with easy access to bus and train services. Check-in was impressively quick, even for a late arrival. The room was disappointingly small, barely fitting the essentials, and lacked adequate heating. Breakfast service was slow, and the meal itself was subpar, with my order arriving incorrectly.

My family and I stayed for 3 nights, and the breakfast was surprisingly delicious. The full English was really good! The room was clean, but the shower door needed fixing. I had an uncomfortable situation when a staff member just walked in without knocking, which upset my daughter. I probably wouldn't choose this place again.

The room was well maintained and very comfortable. The super nice team, especially when i needed to get access to the hotel late at night. Great customer service!

The Sunday carvery was a proper feast, with five meats and all the trimmings-10 out of 10! It's all about the local grub here, folks.

Right, so no one was there to welcome us, and you had to ring up for directions. The toilet made a racket and had barely any loo roll. Don't expect any food or parking perks here. It's non-existent and a bit of a faff.

Nice location with nearby shops and easy access to town. Room cleanliness could definitely improve. The bathroom had issues.
